For teachers

Kids & Money helps Teachers introduce basic financial concepts to students from ages 5 to 12 years. The activities are based on a robust education framework developed for the Retirement Commission by the Enterprise New Zealand Trust. It works in tandem with Sorted Parents with the same key financial concepts forming the basis of both sections.

Each activity links to the NZ Curriculum Framework with key financial concepts, achievement objectives, and essential skills all downloadable at the click of mouse.

Kids can use Kids & Money by themselves, in groups or at home. By enabling both Teachers and Parents to deliver the same informed financial messages to their students or kids, we hope the next generation will be better prepared for the real world.

The journey starts with a visit to the Kids' Section of Kids & Money. There, you’ll find a series of fun games and activities that students and kids can experience either with Teachers or Parents or on their own, that will open up their minds to financial concepts and understanding.
