Semi-retired or retired

Retirement means different things to different people. For many, it’s the time when they are no longer working at all.

Nowadays, with people living longer, healthier lives, many choose to spend a number of years reducing their hours at work. The transition into retirement can span 10 years or more.

Sorted 60plus refers to this transition phase as semi-retired.
