Net real rate of return
The net real rate of return is how much you will earn from your investment after tax, fees and inflation have been taken
into account. Sorted typically uses a net real rate or return of 2.5% per annum, which is what you might expect to get
from a balanced-fund (gross interest rate of around 7% before tax, fees and inflation are taken off).
