New improved investing tools

As part of our new “Investigate before you invest” campaign we’ve upgraded our two investing tools – the Risk recommender and Investment recommender.

For the Risk recommender, we’ve added more age groups and broadened the questions to make the tool more relevant to a wider range of New Zealanders. We’ve also added some additional questions to better establish your risk profile.

Tip: If the result gives you a higher risk profile than you feel comfortable with, try the tool again but modify your answers to the last two questions

For the Investment recommender, we’ve introduced a new "slider" interface. The questions and results have also been updated.

Tip: You need to move the slider under each of the three questions to get an accurate result.

Both tools also now show your results on the same screen as the questions – saving the need to go to a separate page.
